Shifting Issue
Hey all,
I posted another thread previously about having issues shifting in my '04 Heritage. I had gotten under to check the transmission fluid and it was slightly overfull as well as a dark purple color but I've been told and from the research I've done learned that that shouldn't be causing the problems I'm having. I recently changed my idle air control valve and my oil and the issue seemed to be much better. However, tonight it DID NOT, want to go into reverse. Out of frustration I turned the truck off and accidentally put it in gear before turning it back on without really thinking about it. Lo and behold, it shifted perfectly then no further shifting related issues. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
