rusted trans lines
Ok need to explain a couple of things.
My 2013 F150 Ecco boast needed to have the timing chain problem repaired that others have had.
Had the work done at a local Ford Dealer.
I finally got the truck back. I noticed oil under the front of the truck.
I figure I had an oil leak because the entire front of the engine was off.
I called to check on it and was told it wasn't oil it was trans fluid.
I was told the trans lines to the radiator had rusted out. I live in Chicago and the winters are murder on vehicles.
But 80k on the odometer no body rust. I've owned 15+ vehicles and never had this or anything like this.
I'm thinking all the work being done on the front of the engine and something slipped and dinged the lines.
I've asked for the parts. we'll see what the look like.

The dealership did the timing chain job and noticed the trans lines were rusted and leaking and didn’t inform you? All they had to do was call you and say “we found this leak and it’s going to cost xxx dollars to fix.
