Default Rusted Hitch

Should I remove it, best way if so, or just leave it? Rusted and frozen, if that helps to get a response. Thanks guys.

I definitely say remove it. This is the exact reason I keep my hitch and ***** inside the cab unless they're being used. Takes like 0 seconds to take on and off.

I say remove her and try polishing her up! That's a cheap fun (loo maybe not fun) project. Keep her in the cab until used in the future

Thanks Berty. Previous owner clearly didn't know to do that. So I've hammered it, sprayed it with everything I can think of(PB etc) and it still won't budge. Contemplating a sawzall but I don't know if it's hollow to then cave the sides in. Even the pin is frozen.

You cant even get the pin out??? lol

How long have you let the PB blaster soak? I would soak it once a day for a week and try after that week is over.

For real, won't budge. Lol I've only sprayed it a couple times. I'll switch to your regiment and see how that goes before the sawzall. Thank you.

Yeah I'm just afraid if you take a sawzall to it, you wont have anything to hold onto when trying to remove it. Do it the ole redneck way, run a chain around a tree and attach it to the hitch and hit the gas lol

lol jk dont do that
