Hi

I have a Ford F150 2015 Platinum with the retractable running boards. A couple of things, one, they seem to come out and fold in pretty slow. I'm not sure if there is a speed setting on them but it seems like they should be faster. Also, in the winter, those running boards sure attract a ton of snow which causes the running boards to get stuck. Any suggestions?

I dont have em, but this thread says cleaning and lubricating them helps. I'm sure after nearly 7 years of use, if they havent been maintained they could be needing some TLC.
