Rough Idle when A/C is on.......
I have a 2007 F150 Crew w/ 5.4........It has a rough idle when the air conditioning in on and rough acceleration until over 1000 rpm......Doesn't do it when a/c is off......Only had this truck a couple weeks.....Any ideas on what the cause is?

Just a Guess:
The AC kicks the throttle up when the compressor clutch engages....could be a slow response by the IAC, Intake Air Controller. Run a scan of the system and see if any codes are pending.

Haven't had engine light come on so dont think i will have a code......I will get it checked to see just in case.......Read on another thread on here that in some cases of losing power that truck has to relearn idle process again but not sure this is the case with mine due to the fact that it only does it with the a/c on.........
