Default Rough idle

Really thought I got a smoking deal on this pickup. It is clean, straight, extended cab, 4wd, only 34,881 original miles. Has a very rough idle, and does not pickup acceleration easily. Read a few things on the problem, and today I replaced the PCV and hose. No difference. Idle air control next? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Wife biting my head off for buying a lemon.

Choose the proper sub-forum for your truck and repost there, with information about the model, the engine, the exact year and any history that you know of for the truck.

You posted in the maintenance section and haven't given any real engine info besides mileage.

Default Driving me crazy

I have a 2010 f150 5.4 that is driving me crazy. I replaced the MAF to stop the check engine light. Now the intake air temp sensor is coming up. Replaced and is still causing check engine light. I also cleaned the throttle body and now it idles great but I can tap the gas and let off and it starts reving to 1500 rpm then falling to idle over and over. I can put in drive and it stops. If I put back I park it starts again unless I leave in drive for about a minute. Any ideas.
