I was just out driving my 2007 Ford F-150 and it started to shake and acting like it wanted to stall at low speeds and while idling. I recently changed the VCT solenoids in this truck, because I had a ticking noise that I pinpointed to the solenoids using this forum, The truck ran fine for a week or so after the repair so I thought all was well. Then the check engine light came on so I ran the code and it came back as the solenoids not functioning properly. The truck ran fine before I replaced them I just couldn't stand the sound and I knew it couldn't be good so I decided to replace them. I have always done all the work to my vehicles myself but I am not professional by any means. Could this new problem be a cause of something I did wrong or is it a new problem all together? If so what it be?
