Default Rough idle

Have a 2007 Ford F150 5.4. I just completed the rebuild a week ago, and she's been running great, perfect. So I'm running it in a little driving up and down the road, getting it warmed up, and everything.

The truck runs great on start up, runs great at idle as it's warming up, drives great.

As I stop after I've been driving, the motor runs rough, shakes, I think I hear the timing chain slapping, but I could be wrong.

When I step on the gas to rev it up a little it goes away.

Some say it's the cam phasers, but this truck has heads off of a 2008 F150 that had 88,000 miles on it, the motor was well maintained so it's a bit unlikely it's the phasers.

She's not throwing any codes. Does anyone have an idea?

Pretty curious myself , I got a 2010 xlt it runs great and strong but I only notice this when I'm almost at a complete stop ,sounds like a rattling noise and the truck shakes , then when I rev the engine up and it goes away . I haven't had it happen to me in the last little while though .

Seems to me it might be the tensioners. If they aren't getting enough oil pressure they won't keep the chain tight, and it will start slapping the guides. Making it run rough.
