I own a 2013 xlt 4x4 with the 5.0 engine when i woke up this morning the truck acted fine went to school did a few errands then back home. Later in the day i go to a friends house and it is still acting find about an hour later we go to a restuarant and when we where leaving I turned the truck on but the tachometer for the rpm started moving irradicaly from 900 rpm to 500 rpm. I then turned off the truck and turn it back on and continued to do the same, so we headed to my friends house and it continued to rev iraddically when I wasnt moving at traffic lights but not as much at higher rpms. Eventually i dropped him off and put the truck in reverse and it stalled out, i then turned it back on and headed home. My question is. what the issue is? I am thinking it could either be the tps and requiring me to replace the throttle body, or is it just my fuel pump going out? I am asking becasue I dont want to waste money on a working part and a fuel pump replacement would take longer to complete. also my truck has 132 thousand miles on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

nope engine light is off im going to go buy a obd scanner shortly and see if that helps
