Rocker stud removal???

i need to remove the rocker studs to put a different set of rockers on any advice? and are they lefty loosey?

If the studs are not broken off, a vise grip will work, but they do make a stud removal kit to for all sizes, american or metric. I think the hardest part of the job is to compensate for the 9" lift elevation.
