reverse wont work
hey guys im new to the sight and im hoping you can help me out. i have an 03 5.4 l 4x4 with 121k miles on it and an auto trans. i recently got stuck and tried rocking it and now my reverse wont work. in every gear but park i go forward. i know its going to be expensive but are there anyways of pinpointing the problem? and help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like you FRIED your clutch pack friction plates themselves. When they overheat, they can seperate from the steel plate and the friction material will pile up to one side of the clutch pack and regardless of what direction you are "requesting" the clutch pack is PHYSICALLY LOCKED in Fwd! If you put it in Neutral and you STILL go fwd. I BET thats the problem!
