Can someone help me understand this. My 05 F150 ac wasn't blowing out the vents. I took it to the Ford dealer last month and they "reprogrammed" it for $105.00. It was working fine but now it seems to be doing the same thing. I can't take it back since I moved 1200 miles away. Is this real? What causes it to get un-programmed? Thanks if you can enlighten me.

 

You might have a small leak somewhere in one of your ac lines or ac cooler. I would suggest that you take it to a shop and ask them to do a leak test on your system.

 

I guess I wasn't clear. It is the air flow system. It blows fast and furiuos and cold, just not out the vents. Like the director door is closed or stuck. I guess from the lack of responses that nobody else understands what "re-programming" the AC is either.

 

I wasn't sure either. Thought I'd say my two cents about what I thought it might be :p
