Ok, I know this is a loaded question......... I will give as much data as I can.

I bought my 2007 FX4 new and it now has 121000 miles on it with original shocks. I am going to replace them. Need to know opinions on what to buy. The following are how the truck will be used as well as additional information.

1. I CAN NOT AFFORD FOX SHOCKS
2. Very little off road (not much need for a lot of clearance)
3. I will be trailering a Nautique ski boat, sometimes long distance
4. Not looking to invest in any additional lift, just keep it stock
5. No more than $150-200 per shock

I have read that Bilstein 5100 are a decent replacement but I also know there are more options for me, I am looking for some other decent options.
