Default Replaced OSS to fix one problem but got another

Hello, I could use some guidance here. My 2010 F150 (4.6L 4x4) speedo was bouncing around so I replaced the output shaft speed sensor. After this, the speedo issue was corrected but now the transmission doesn't wan't to shift - it feels like I'm in limp home mode as the truck doesn't go above 30mph. I have to put it into 2nd gear to shift then back into drive and when I do this, the wrench shows up but the truck is drivable - not 100% like it should be but still driveable. Do both the TSS and OSS have to be replaced at the same time? Is there a "reset" switch that needs to be triggered to get the transmission back in line? I haven't pulled the code yet to see what it's telling me (it clears after key cycle) so I thought I'd stop be here to check for ideas.
