Default removing the A/C compressor (how to)?

I love the site and have been coming here for a while so I think its time to register.. I do have a question.

My 1999 F150 has been awesome for years but The AC compressor pulley is ceased solid and broke my tensioner belt.

Anyway The pictures online show the tensioner is moved downward on trucks without AC . Is that a different tensioner or can you move the tensioner there down at a different angle.

it has the 4.6

I was able to get it out by moving the tranny lines.. Can I get away with just buying a 4.6 NON AC belt or do I have to buy the idler pully as well that replaces the AC

And thank you by the way

Yes you should be able to just use the shorter belt. Might have to mix and match to find the right size.
