Hey I have a 2010 f150 with a factory remote starter. It was working fine but now every time I try to start it with the remote it honks back at me twice indicating that the hood is open or the brake is being pressed but neither of these things are happening. I had the same problem last year and opening and closing the hood fixed the problem but not this time. I've tried disconnecting the battery hoping that it would reset itself but that didn't work either. I live 4 hours from the dealership and won't be around there for at least a month. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?
