Default Remote start/Door ajar

Hello,

I'm sure this has been gone over a million times, but I can't seem to get a definitive answer. I will do my best to describe the issue and give list of details.
When I got the vehicle, remote start was not working. Was told by private seller that it was "Something with a spring under the hood". A quick google search by me found the hood switch which I found to be unplugged. Could not locate any wire floating around and another google search turned up a photo of the "Placeholder" for the plug on the brake reservoir that is used for vehicles without the remote start. Pulled it from there, plugged into the hood switch and worked perfectly.

Remote start works fine 1 time immediately after I reset the BCM with Forscan. Subsequent tries even after starting with key and driving short distance, remote start does not work. I get the flashing lights and 1 beep.

Double push of lock on remote SOMETIMES gives a double beep which I understand to be a door ajar. Verified that all doors are closed. Checked continuity and function of hood switch and bent it up. Seems to be working as expected (Continuity when pushed in, no continuity when released). Also, cleaned connectors with CRC Electrical Contact cleaner and then Dielectric grease.

Even if I get a SINGLE beep when double pressing the lock on the FOB, the remote start will not work. Still get flashing lights and single beep.

Replaced Key Fob Battery. Same results.
Checked truck battery. Getting 12.8V
Checked all door switches. All doors report open on dash when opened and door ajar warning stops when closed.
Remote Start is enabled with Forscan AS BUILT. Also tried to use the BCM (not ASBUILT) module and it shows ENABLED

The only thing i have NOT tried yet is the removal of the battery and draining of the electrical system by touching the + to ground.

Anything I am missing here? Thanks!!!

Factory remote. Truck info in signature but it's a 2012 3.5 Lariat.

2012 F-150 Lariat Ecoboost. 190k+ miles. Motor replaced at some point and had timing chain job done while out of vehicle.

See if this helps: The fix begins at 3:00 if you don't want the how/why.

Thanks. I wish I could say that was it, but its not. I even bypassed the switch by jumping the 2 wires.

I just cycled the remote start ON/OFF using forscan again and once again, it worked the first time. But would not work a 2nd time even after using key and driving vehicle around parking lot.

So frustrating. lol

So it appears that the battery was the issue. While it was reading 12.6v and 14v while running, I noticed in Forscan that it was dropping all the way to 10v while cranking.

Replaced the battery and it now works every time.

Now... To tackle the damn radio making the loud static noise and shutting off.

Thanks,.
