Guys ... I have a 2003 Screw , 5.4 Lariat and it appears the remote door mounted switch ( Driver side ) has gone out . It will move the mirrors one direction only . How do I replace the switch ? Remove the whole pod ? Does it just pull off and then replace the switch or do I have to replace the whole pod ?
I suspect all the heavy rain we had here has something to do with it as when the door is opened , it gets the rain full force on the switches .

i don't know what causes this i have the same problem with my 2001 Screw. as far as taking off that panel on the door where the switch is located is easy there are two clips holding that little section. you have to pull it straight up just be careful not to break the clips or it won't snap back on

 

Mine does the same, 2001 F150 XLT. Let me know if the switch fixes this problem.
