How many different settings are their when you set up a rearend?
Here's what I know, what am I missing? Trying ot decide if I want to try this myself.

1. You have to set the pinion crush washer at about 15 inch lbs
2. You set backlash by adjusting the carrier left or right
3. You have to setup up the clutch pack to the proper thickness or a little thicker.

What I don't know:
Is there any shimming required between the carrier and the housing?
What adjustment sets up contact pattern?

haha... you gotta know how to set up and read a dial indicator...and to get it set up perfect so it will last over 6 months you gotta know what your doing... ..any slight mistake and you will be doing it again in 5-10 miles
