Rear Diff Pinion seal Replacement
I have an 09 150xl reg cab. Today i noticed a lot of oil on the bottom of my rear differential and out both sides of the axle to the shocks, i also noticed oil leading out of the differential by the drive shaft. My question how hard of a job is this?? I have moderate ability to work on vehicles as i have done most of the work on my and wifes vehicles. Anyone have a good guide on how to do this? I have a haynes manual once i can find it again (lost after a buddy borrowed it). Thanks

Changing the axle seals is pretty easy. Changing the pinion seal is a little more involved. The seal is not hard, but the dissasembly/assembly procedure is a little more technical. Your Haynes manual tells how.
