I have a 2007 F150 XLT, with the 3" inch rough country, shortly after installing , I thought i was dragging a bunch of tin cans with marbles in them, horrible sound, got into a 4 car pile up, soooo, when the mechanic looked for problems he found, what was causing the loud ratcheting sounds, he had replaced the upper control arms and the lower ball joints, haven't had any sounds whats so ever since replacing those parts, remember replace the upper and lower ball joints. Hope this helps, Solved my turning left and right without any crazy sounds coming from my front end.

What's up Guy's and Gals , I had that annoying can of marbles rattling in mine, 2007 Ford F-150 XLT 2wd lifted 3" , rebuilt complete front end, all but the brake ROTORS, spent all that money, and it still kept on a rattling, any time i made a left or right hand turn, sounded like a can of marbles being shook around, then it got to a point, where if the truck moved, it was terrible.

So, I took the tires off and changed the only thing left to change, the BRAKE ROTORS, put tires back on , test drove, and Oh MY GOD, Lord JESUS, I had fixed the rattling noises forever, no more irritating crunch and rattling from my front end, truck is beautiful and dream quite again. So, if you have the original rotors on, that you had on your truck prior to the leveling kit being installed, you should change into a set of new front rotors, and pads, seriously helped me with my noises caused by the Angle that the old rotors where put in. After 2 years of trying to figure this out, tearing the front end apart, over and over, finally found the solution, CHANGE YOUR FRONT ROTORS. Noises will go away.

Default Same

I have the same noise with my 2015 F-150 fx4. I did a 2.5" front leveling kit, stock 18s and tires. Had 2 alignments done and noticed the noise after. I re torqued everything but it still makes that same noise. Also noticed the wheels assembly has the metal stop nipples on the back and the right is shows signs of impact but the left, which is the side the noise is coming from, has fearless impact marks. When installed I took the LCA components off and dropped the LCA, made for a way easier install, at a loss for what the issue could be.. any recommendations for aftermarket control arms with just a 2.5" front leveling kit or should I leave it stock?
