Default Problem with blinkers

Hey guys, I have a 2000 F-150 XLT and am having a problem with my blinkers. If I go to signal left, then the left front signal comes on but in the tail end the right side lights and and vice versa. I'm not sure what's causing the problem. My horn and cruise control also went out recently but I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it as I can't pinpoint the exact time my blinker problem started. Anybody faced this problem before?

Had the same problem with my 07 f150 a few months after i bought it. Up until that point, i've always done all of the maintenance on any car i've owned. the issue with mine was the turn signals were not working in the rear if my headlights were on. couldn't figure it out for a few weeks, checked every fuse, circuit, ground connection i could find and nothing. finally i relented and took it to the dealer, turns out it was a relay/switch in located in the brake lights/turn signal circuit, which is wired into the headlights. only solution was to have the turn signal arm replaced. it did however fix it. check out a wiring diagram(find online) to see if you can isolate the circuit the problem flasher seems to be on, its probably possible to check individual circuits/relays with a multimeter to check for conductivity/resistance also and try to isolate bad part. good luck
