Power steering pump
I own a 2007 f150 xlt, 4.6l. I'm looking to change my own power steering pump but can't seem to really find any help via YouTube. Was wondering if anyone had a video or maybe some helpful tips.
I just did this one myself on a 2010 5.4l

This thread has a lot of information.
It's a fairly simple pull and replace, but the real challenges are getting to all the bolts.
There are 4 bolts holding it in place. The bottom two were easiest to reach from underneath my truck (definitely remove your lower valence). The the upper front is easy to reach and the last one (upper back) was easiest for me to reach from behind the power steering pump. An array of extensions can make a big difference in what this will take.
If you can get a helping hand, it can make a big difference, but it is not impossible (barely) by yourself.
Definitely need the pump pulley and installer, but the can both be rented at O'Reilly's and Autozone.
Good luck, and definitely leave time for mistakes to be made. I would say I easily spent 6 or so working hours on this project.
