Tonight, I went to start my truck, and got nothing but a loud click. I tried about five times with the same result. Went inside to make a phone call, came back out and she started right up. I tried about five more times, and she started up every time. It's pretty cold out, are these starters known to freeze up, or do you guys think the starter is on the way out?

Just got home and fired her up 4 more times. Could it have just frozen up in the 8 degree cold?

 

Bump again! It only seems to happen when its really cold out, like 10 and under.

 

Seriously, nobody has had this issue?
