Please Help: Code for Ignition Malfunction & Misfire
Hi. Names Brian.
2001 F150 XLT 4.2liter V6
I recently started to get a code for ignition malfunction and misfire.
So I started by changing the spark plugs and wires. Not to long ago I replaced the coil pack on-top of the engine where the plugs wires group. I also replaced the camshaft synchronizer. all this done still had issues. So I took it to a trusted shop and while I was there I got the upper and lower manifold seals done cause the lower has been crying oil for a while now and I just didnt have time to replace.
All that said and done they re-set the synchronizer to just make sure and still having the same code and rough start and idle.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Also not to long ago I had to replace my computer on my truck cause it started to go out too.
Any pointers would be nice.
