It's just not my day. I decided to install my 5100s today. Back pair of OEM shocks came off and new ones on in about 10 minutes flat for both sides. Easier than the superduty.

Front, I pull the tire, shock bolts, sway, etc bolts and pull the front shock/spring assembly. Bout 12 minutes.

Spent the last 2 hours trying to compress the spring lol. I did my Raptor with the same compressor and tools with no probs at all, and this f150 spring is giving me hell......from hell.

I've realigned the compressor, I'm wrenching it down with 750ft lb impact, and it's creeping. I thought it may be binding, but I pull it all part and do it again.

*** if anyone has a beefier spring compressor, I'm up for a compressing party!

it finally started moving a bit better, and swapped the OEM for the 5100.

Sad to say, I'm dead in the water on this one. W T F

Lower is dropped as far as it will go, cant get enough room to get the lower shock eye where it needs to go. My Raptor dropped enough to let me get the assembly back in, with this one, its not going the way I want.

Dead. In. The. Water. Time for a break.
