Help! engine light on w/ 10 codes
Hello, I am looking for some help. My 04 f150 5.4 started running rough, with no light on. Then on a long trip the light came on. I replaced a coil pack on Cyl 8 after diagnosing it with my dad. I did this by disconnecting a coil pack at a time then starting it up to see if there was a change. We replaced number 8 ran better for half a day. Then on the way home I replaced 4 more coil packs and then switched out the others with the ones I replaced due to no change. No change. I stopped by the garage they pulled the codes; P0010 Intake cam pos Acc circuit open bank 1 open, P0020 Intake cam pos Acc circuit open bank 2 open, P0174 system too lean, P0308 Cyl 8 misfire, P0316 Misfire on start up, P0353,P0355,P0356,P0357,P0358. The P0353-P0358 are all the exact coil packs that I replaced. I was thinking to change the plug out on Cyl 8 or all of them. The plugs were redone at Ford dealer 60k miles ago by my dad as he was the only previous owner. Any insight or recommendations if I am headed in the right direction with switching out the cyl 8 plug/plugs? Any other recommendations, Thanks.

Are all those codes related to the same run of the wiring harness? If something went janky in there.... good luck my friend.

Ford recommends installing a new plug when you change out a bad coil , I have to agree this is the best plan . Make sure you use the proper dielectric grease on the boot tips to prevent arcing .
