What dose the p1000 code mean/stand for?

 

P1000 means that the resetting cycle of the engine computer is not complete. i guess just disconnect neg. battery cable, reconnect it and drive it for about a week and it should clear itself

 

Is your light on? Ive never seen a P1000 code set a SES light. Typically it is just found when you scan for other codes, but never alone.

 

Yea since its not a fault code i wouldnt think it would display the light

 

No it was just in there and I wasn't sure but I had five codes but Now only 2 and I didn't do anything but clear them and he exhaust fell off at the headers so I ripped it off.. But it still idles rough so my boss Is going to call around and see if I can get a used motor fairly cheap..
