Default p0461

Hi all. Im getting a p0461 trouble code, fuel level sensor issue. I knew something was up because I could see the gage in the dash acting strangely, and I even let myself run out of gas once. Makes me feel a bit better that the gage was wrong, but... I searched here but didn't find anything as far as information. I put a whole new fuel pump assembly along with a FPDM in just around 12k miles ago, so I'm surprised its bad already. Is there anything I should try or know before I go thru this PITA procedure again? I hate dropping the tank. Well, to clarify, I hate putting it back up.

Thanks for any info!

P0461 - Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance

Description: This DTC sets when the FLI signal repeatedly moves in and out of range, exceeding the minimum or maximum allowable calibrated parameters for a specified fuel fill percentage in the fuel tank. For vehicles with a dual container (saddle type) fuel tank either fuel level sensor may set this DTC.
Possible Causes:

Diagnostic Aids: Verify aftermarket equipment does not generate radio frequency interference or electromagnetic interference which may cause noisy FLI input signal.

Thanks! It has just started throwing this code, so for several months it has worked fine. I have a 30 gallon tank, not dual tanks.
