I replaced the cam sensor it stopped the check engine for about 1000 miles now both show up and a low engine power where the mileage gage is. What would be the next to look into.

2005 f150 5.4l v8 250 thousand miles. Engine runs smooth a little rough start buy smooths out shortly after start up. The p0340 code came up about 1000 miles ago changed the c sensor and the check engine light went off. Came back on now showing both codes. I have checked the wires by sight I don't have a volt meter capable of checking that way.

Well, you need to verify that you have power at the connector. Key on engine off. If you do, can most likely move on to a mechanical failure. If you don't, you're going to have to find the problem with either the grey/red wire or orange wire, pin 44 on the clip to pcm or pcm. If you don't have a multimeter. This isn't a fix for you.
