Hi, I have an 03 lariat FX4 bought used and the overhead console doesn't work. I took the circuit board out of it to make the repair that I read about in this forum, but can't finish that till I get to the city to pick up a resistor. My question tho, the owners manual says that I have a compass and outside temp display in the console, but there are only 2 digits that can light up to display anything for temps or compass readings. So, if it actually is supposed to display temps, it could only go as high as 99 degrees. I'm in the desert where it's over 99 a lot of the time. Can anyone tell me what's up with that?
