Default Oil Filter

I have a 2012 F150 V8 FFV Engine. I always did my own oil & filter changes. This engine has hoses in front of filter. Don't know if they are air condition hoes under pressure or not. Do they have to be removed to get oil filter off? Its a hassle to go to Ford dealership to have this done. Thanks

I did my own for 40 years. Not any more. Try a quick lube. $35 to $75 and it's done. Ford will honor the warranty from most chain lube shops. I've even used Big-O-Tires for an oil change on the wifes car.

Marc D: Thanks, The price is reasonable but I don't trust them. I have seen to many lube shops just wipe old oil filter clean & not change it, makes it look new. I would still like to know what to do with hose blocking oil filter. Thanks for the help.Cambre
