Default Oil change question

I am sure this is a dead horse topic (assumption here lol) and I tried to search but the search function was not working for me at all.

Anyway, When it comes to oil changes on a 2016 F150 and making sure to stay in warranty terms. When am I supposed to change the oil?
I did my first change at the dealer at 4500 miles. They put a sticker in the windshield that says 9500 miles for next change. However the owners manual is not specific to my mind atleast.
It says this

Your vehicle is equipped with an Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor that determines when you should change the engine oil based on how your vehicle is used. By using several important factors in its calculations, the monitor helps reduce the cost of owning your vehicle and reduces environmental waste at the same time.
This means you do not have to remember to change the oil on a mileage-based schedule. Your vehicle lets you know when an oil change is due by displaying a message in the information display.
So does that mean that I can keep going (currently at 45% on the oil life monitor) until it goes off and still be in warranty terms? even if its 12000 miles since last one? (not that I would go that far on one oil change but just trying to see what the limits are)

Here is a screen shot of the manual from owner.ford site.

Thanks in advance all.

They have you on a 5,000 mile change interval, I would stick with that.

Why wouldn't you follow what the owners manual says. It sounds pretty clear to me.

And yes, this has been beat to death a million times over.

In all honesty, you're reading waaayyyy to far into it. You're covered whether you change it at 5k or when the OLM tells you to change it. The Ford dealer is using a 5k interval because that's what they deem sufficient. If you want to keep your truck a long time, I'd stick with the 5k. If you are leasing it or trading it later, use the OLM. Remember, today's oils can be pushed for a very long service...

People will spend an absolute fortune to buy these rigs, they'll mod'em, buy big tires and such, but when it comes to one of the most important things you can due for it, oil changes, which are not that expensive, they get stingy all of a sudden.

Im not being stingy, (sorry for late reply been busy as heck lol) Im just trying to verify where the line is drawn in regards to the warranty.

In my last truck, 2010 Ford Ranger, I would change mine around 6500-7000 miles. And that was to keep in line with the warranty and while running full synthetic.

I was just wanting to make sure that the 6000ish range is ok. Thanks for all the replys yall.

6000 should be ok. Just got to be careful, because some dealers will use any excuse they can to deny a claim.

That they do.
A relative of mine (cousin I am close to) who is a tech now at a Toyota dealer, switched there from a Ford dealer about August, says Toyota is much worse than ford is to.
He said it is basically a guarantee that you will be denied if you have an engine problem and say any sort of engine mod at all, like a catch can or tuner box....where at the Ford dealer they would often look at it on a case by case basis.
He chuckles at people who think Toyota builds more reliable vehicles.
Feels that the quality of Ford trucks is vastly better than Toyota trucks.
Many brand new Tacoma trucks are a year old and spent half their life at the dealership for serious repairs like new transmissions etc.
Great job security for him as they frequently need repair.

I keep all records in multiple places, On my comp, on my phone, and even paper receipts.
