Odd sound when accelerating and braking
i have a 4x4 2010 f150 that just recently had new shocks, struts, and tires put on. After getting my truck back, it has a weird sound right upon accelerating and when braking. The only way I know to describe the sound is that when the weight of my truck shifts backwards/forwards, it’s a deep squeaking sound. Almost like there’s something at the back of my truck that isn’t greased or isn’t tightened enough. Also, when I turn left or right, and the weight shifts a decent amount, I get one or two loud pops from somewhere in the front end. Any help?
Your symptoms describe what I am currently dealing with. I posted a video of my noises which are apparently from worn lower control arm bushings. "Lower control arm pooping clunking" is the title of my post which was created on 4/22. Check out the video links and see if that is what you are hearing.
