Obd plug in not working

Any one have a problem when plugging in your pocket scanner and it not powering up? It worked before and wanting to check/clear codes.... Just wondering what fuse number to start checking first? 2004 f 150 xlt 4x4

I believe its the cigarette lighter fuse.

Found it

It is fuse number 41. Wonder why the manual does NOT just say ODB connection/cigarette lighter.
