Default No plan

Hello, the F150 of my brother has the follow diseases:
  • rough running
  • ticking noises
  • low mileage per gallone
  • blue smoke out of exhaust after start
i have ordered the cam phaser, hope, that will be the reason.
But today, my brother means, i have to do a test drive, because the truck has no power. and really, feels like missing of one or two cylinders.
Very bad performance. Is it possible, that the reason are the phasers?
thank you for help!

If it ONLY happens on start up, the blue smoke is from valve stem seals leaking. Rough running could be a lot of things, but I would start with checking the fuel pressure and the spark plugs. The low mileage could be due to a lot of different things. What kind of mileage is he actually getting? Year and engine size would help a lot here.

Today, i replaced the cam phasers, was a big extent of work.
The result was, that the noise is better, but not good enough.
The ticking in front of bank 1 is disappeared but now is at bank 2, i guess at the 7th or 8th cylinder a loud ticking, probably already before.
Furthermore the truck has no power, if i give "kick down", the truck will not accelerate enough.
I changed all spark plugs, at two of them (7th and 4th cylinder) the negative electrode was slightly broken an as i pulled with my finger at the electrode, it was abrupt. What can be the reason for that? Never seen before. They was CHAMPION spark plugs!!!
PLEASE TRY, TO FIND A SOLUTION WITH ME!!!!
