I lost boost on my 3.5. I suspected waist gate failure. Stuck shaft, rusty actuator, boost controller. Not sure what. I used a prybar to move the valve. Its free. I ohm out the controller 24 ohms and it clicks with 12 volts.
I started truck to see if I could build pressure in the controller lines when all of a sudden I had massive amount of oil smoke out the exhaust.
Im hoping something happened to the turbo instead of something in the engine.
