Default No 4WD

Hey Folks,

I have a 2005 FX4 that is having a 4WD issue. I get no response when I turn it to 4WD. I used to have to tap the transfer case motor to get it to shift, so I replaced it. Still no 4WD. I checked the fuses in the fusebox, the relays under the hood, replaced the IWE selenoid, and scratched my head a lot.

Is there anything else I can do before taking it in to the stealership?

Dan

I just replace the IWE selenoid. Found a vacuum line broken at the connection, replaced it and still nothing. Got under the truck and banged on the shift motor and finally got the light to come on. Works flawlessly now. IWE selenoid....$26.1O....10 MM socket....$4......know where to hit the hammer....$0....thanks F150 forum. Been looking at Chevy's this week.......
