I picked up a 2010 F150 XLT with SYNC but without nav a few months back and I’ve spent the past several days trying to track down the files that would update my system. I use Bluetooth to steam music on a daily basis and my display currently reads “Bluetooth Audio” when it’s in use. It’s my understanding that an update would change that to display the info of the music playing as well as improve the general functionality.

I registered an account on MyFord website and provided my VIN but no updates are available according to the site. I contacted Ford and they told me those updates were released so many years ago that they aren’t on the website any longer.

Any ideas or links to these updates would be much appreciated.

I have an '18 and I just checked my vin and esn and was given the message that an update is not available.

My current versions are 17276 and 1.1130.

Is the update not available to everyone?

I’m certainly not the expert here. But it is my understanding that both the Sync 3 update to build 19205 and map update to version 1.18 should be available to 2018 owners.
