Well after some saving and help from you guys i have purchased a used motor for my truck. After doing some looking round on here I think i figured out if my motor was air in manifold or head but im not totally positive. i had to jump on the motor that i found because it was the first one i found in 50 miles and gave me a 30 day warranty even with me putting it in myself.

1. if my original motor is air in head and i bought a air in manifold will the motor still work? i think my motor is air in manifold and i bought an air in manifold. 2. My motor right now has the smog pump and stuff on it. I dont have emissions testing here in Michigan so do i have to put that smog stuff back on? sorry if these question are dumb i have looked and havent found much on this.
