Default Need to program OCS Module as built?

For some reason, Forscan doesn’t allow programming of OCS as built data. I’ve got seats from a higher trim level and newer model. Because I can’t program as built for this module, it gives me a DTC on RCM. Is there any way to do this? I need to program my VIN from the sounds of it.

What year vehicle is it and what year model did the seats come out of? Not sure on Lincolns but Ford changed the electronics when they went from 2010 to 2011 and nothing with either year is cross compatible as far as that goes.

They also changed the electronics again between 2014-2015. That's on Fords. Unsure on Lincoln but it's highly likely the 6 year split between the two is going to be an issue.

Just curious as this doesn't effect me but does this non-compatibility issue effect the air bags in the truck? Doesn't the OCS effect the air bags?

it affects the passenger seat airbag yes. Looks like a trip to the dealer for calibration/programming is in order

That's what it was I came across at sometime in the past. Calibrating sensors to control the bags for the difference between adults and kids instead of just turning the bags on or off. How does the non-compatibility of electronics effect this?
