My son just got his grandfather's 95 f150 4×4 with a 351 automatic transmission. I changed the filter and fluid. It will pull like new in reverse but will pull then slip then pull then slip in drive. I'm trying to get it up and running so when he gets to duty station he can have it. Any help please

 

Pull the pan back off and make sure the filter is NOT laying in the bottom of the pan, it's not uncommon for the filter o-ring to stick and stay in the valve body from the old filter and the new filter wont seat properly because of it and falls out.
