It has been just over a year that we had our check engine light on and fixed due to an egr replacement on our 02 F150. Now it is on again. I was wanting to know if anyone out there has been successful at resetting this light so we could go about our daily everyday business.
I cannot afford to have a mechanic charge me an arm and a leg right now to fix something I am hoping can be reset.
Are there any experienced folks out there that can give me some good advice to reset this??

Unhook your battery for 10 seconds and it will clear it but it will most likely come back on until you fix the cause, you can take it to auto zone and get the code and let us know what it is and we might be able to help more
