Default moody starting

I have loved my 95 f150 since i bought it in 96 but very recently she has took a turn to decide not to start. My starter turns like normal and usually it starts almost instantly, but as of late it has taken a turn to be quite moody..my best description....attempting to start for up too an hour. In three different instances..after a prolonged time of trying to start it i finally give up and return after an undisclossed amount of time it starts as if nothing was ever wrong. Then this morning after driving back and fourth for three days just fine again this morning it was sitting for at least three hrs so it wasnt hot it turned over and over and over and over but no start. Couple hrs later went to try it and she fired up just like she was new..BAFFLED BEYOND BELIEF!!! I have replaced the coil plugs wires cap and rotor and also the control module.. I am now at wits end whats next the distibutor? Out of answers so i am open to all suggestions once again at wits end and out of answers...help

Once started do you have any symptoms? My '95 did that when the tps(throttle position sensor) went. While driving I had a surge in rpms like a vac leak. Just an idea.

Default moody black baby

ok its been a week...taking chances driving her and then it finally died pulling in a parking lot. Took it and tried to get codes but the ones i kept getting was not anything to do with what i had. Guy behind the counter at oreillys seemed concerned so i told him of my problem and right off the bat he said my idle control valve....? It just didnt seem right. Anyway i took it off brakkleen and spiffed it up and knocked it around and sure nuff it helped then it died at a red light and would not start..pushed it to the side and left it ...came back two hrs later with a wrecker and she started like nothing was wrong. saved me that bill anyhow. drove it for approximately ten minutes it died again this time a buddy happen to be behind me and he knew of my problems first thing he did was unplug the icv....it started...it died but it started so new icv...so far so good.....

I had a 91 ranger and it would start when cold, but if it was a lil warm out it wouldn't start. ended up being the fuel pump
