Metal in used oil???

Metal in used oil???
Hey y'all.
First post so bear with me. During last my last oil change I at the bottom of my drain pan after pouring out the old oil was some metal. Some the size of grains of salt some slightly larger. I've never seen anything like this. Truck has just shy of 60k miles, dealer says this is normal? And referenced a general service bulletin 20-7062. Anybody have that available or know where I can find it. Thanks.
