Low Fuel Light
You should put ALL the truck's details & history (as much as you know) into your signature so it shows with each post, as this page explains:

Phone apps don't always show signatures, so you may need to switch to a real browser in desktop mode on your phone, or just use a desktop/laptop computer. Put your location in your profile & upload an avatar of the truck. The more pics you post of the truck, engine, wiring, labels, & undercarriage, the more likely we can help you.

I have a similar question to above about restarting.
I think if the warning is on and you fuel the vehicle while it is running, the computer may not be immediately satisfied until the key is shut off.
I 'ran out of gas' once while parked on a hill. It took a minute or more (if I remember correctly) for the DTE, fuel gauge and warnings to go away once it was in my garage and level. Yes, I ran out of gas in my driveway from parking it facing downhill. It took 8 gallons of fuel before it would start.... then it finally showed nearly 1/2 tank (since I already had several gallons in the tank.
I came home the night before with 80 DTE. Once I parked in the garage after 3 tips to the corner gas station with a can, the DTE finally jumped up to something like 128 DTE. It's been 2.5 year since so that number may be off a little. The point is that it took time for the computer to adjust.
Please follow up if you still have a light after returning to the vehicle and turning on the key. We assume you never shut the truck off, drove home and created an account here.
