Just bought a 03 F150 and ive put about 1500 miles on it. Problem is i checked the transmission fluid and it was so low i didnt even have a reading on the dip stick. It took a quart and a half to bring it to the mid line on the dip stick... question is what are the odds of it being a quart and a half low causing damage to it?

Did you feel anything from the tranny telling you there is an issue? If you felt jerking or slippage then you may be burning out the clutches and seals causing more damage. I would plan a tranny shop visit soon...
