Default Lots of problems need some help/advice

Whats up I'm new to this but I figure some of you may have had these problems. I have a 05 2wd 4.6 Romeo f150 and a list of things wrong with it.

I just replaced my alternator about 2 months ago and now my engine is making a weird noise kinda like a supercharger would make but not as cool because it has no supercharger.

My cruise control light will not even come on when I hit the button.

When at a stop when I get on the gas there is a slight jolt, it feels like it is coming from the rear end the rpms do not rev high so I don't think it's the tranny. And now when going up a hill slowly it will shift down real hard. The truck has had 35s on it for almost a year now about 18000 miles or so. I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not I'm sure it does tho.

When turning left or right I hear a tink sound almost like if you dropped a metal bolt on the pavement. I thought I lost a lug the first time I heard it.

The headlights and gauges will dim when driving down the road then go bright again. This is not due to the alternator it was just changed. The headlights will not do this when the vrights are on only on low beams.

Both driver and passenger window motors broke (cables broke out) ford said about $500 each. They can sit on a big one.

Any help on letting me know what any of these things could be or advice on checking or fixing it would be nice. Or should I just trade it in for a diesel ?

Is the battery good? You could be having issues there with the alternator/lights. Belt tension on the alternator is correct? If it's too loose or tight it will cause problems.

With the jolting, are there any fuel issues with the truck? I could be a clogged fuel filter. If that's not the case, try checking out the tranny. I know a lot of the Rangers with a V6 Auto have/had problems with a jolt when kicking into 2nd gear.

Does cruise control still work even without the light? In either case, the harness would need to be looked into, or possibly a new light in the dash.

The battery is new I got it the same time I replaced the alternator, but I did put a bigger battery in it some guys at work said it could be the alternator working harder to powere the battery. I'll have to check the belt.

The cruise control doesn't work at all the light won't come on on the dash and it won't engage when driving. ( I'm not to worried about it because I never use it I just don't want it to be linked to something serious I hate I'll these computers in vehicles lol)

The rear end I fixed it was extremly low on fluid I put some in and it's working perfect as of now.

Thanks for all that advice I'll be checking on that belt first thing today before I go out of town
