Looking for a driveshaft
I've got a "99 XLT 120" wheelbase 5 sp Manual. the rear driveshaft ( CV type) snaps and vibrates, where can I get a replacement for it, without spending a thousand dollars at a dealer. I'm from Maine , but I'll get one anywhere I can at a decent price.

I found a machine shop to repair my driveshaft. Ny question is,
Can I remove the shaft and drive in 4wd without loosing alot of tranny oil?
It's a 5 speed manual. I've never done that but a guy told me that it can be driven around without a rear driveshaft with no problem.
