Hey guys, I'm looking into a 2011 f150, 5.ol and the guy says the odometer will "speed up" and not match the GPS. Which he says why it has 140k miles on it. I am inclined to call BS but figured I check around if there have been odometer problems before.

That makes no sense, unless he's switched the rear gears, not compensated, and isn't saying it correctly. If it's all stock with no modifications then he's BSing and I'd just walk away.

 

Yea it sounds "bass ackwards" from the get go. Lol

 

I believe when hooked up to a scan tool they can see actual mileage... I could be wrong but I thought I remember hearing this.
